Hello everyone,
My good friend in Idaho Falls has finally persuaded me to jump on the "blog bandwagon". So far it's been pretty fun and hopefully I can keep up with the maintenance. I hope also that you all will check it out once in a while and possibly even make a few comments. If any of you have a blog as well, let me know, I would love to take a look.
As my first official posting I would like to pass on my new favorite recipe. I am not a cook, as most know, so this is a no-brainer. A few months ago at Christmas my mom tried out a new recipe on us, as she tends to do. Normally they aren't that good but occasionally she really hits it big. This time she did and now we request it every chance we get. This is the best green salad you have had in a long time, try it out.
2- 5oz. bags of salad (Mediterranean mix with spinach is best)
1C cashews
1 apple chopped
1 pear chopped
1/3C dried cranberries
1C shredded Swiss cheese
2T finely chopped red onion
Dressing
Mix together
1/2C sugar
1/3C lemon juice
1t salt
2/3C oil
1T poppy seeds

Whoosh, It's Bright!
We are the Champions
This is our first Pine Wood Derby experience in Scouts. Of course we took all precautions and did plenty of research. Matt wouldn't settle for anything but the best. Having never done it before we were hoping for the best...in the beginning, but after the first race we knew we had it in the bag. No other car came within twelve inches of our car. Plus, ours looked as smooth as snot.

Smiley
Funny Faces
The funny part about this video is the faces Averi makes. Also, I scanned the room so we could remember what our first attempt at girl decorations looked like.
Easter Sunday
